A Colorful January
With the buzz of the New Year wearing off, it's time for a little pick-me-up. But with spring still a long way away, it's hard to see warmer days on the horizon. Plus, all that holiday travel and gift giving has taken a big dent out of your budget.

Best of all, some great colors are still out there, so you can whet your appetite for those cheery spring shades and also keep warm in the office. This fabulous 100% cashmere ruffle wrap by Magaschoni is warm and elegant. The edging makes it pretty and feminine. Normally around $350, I found it at Searle, one of my favorite stores for winter warm stuff, for $189. Searle makes toasty coats for snow-bound New Yorkers, so you can bet they know something about how to keep people warm. Available in 14 colors, the only trouble is choosing which one to buy.
