A Ked of a Different Color
I haven't put on a pair of Keds since I was in middle school. This doesn't mean that I don't think that they are a classic, I'm just not one to wear a sneaker; however, I feel that they're a great deck shoe. Just like everything else, it seems that everyone and everything wants to be viewed in a way that is different then how we were originally introduced. Excuse me if I'm the late one in this trend; however, I was shocked to see the above sandal as a Ked. I know that the past few seasons Ked has been promoting their new looks; however, I was completely oblivious! The sandal is super cute and a different look for a flip flop (oh you know I'm all about the flip flop). I absolutely loved it and the one I happened to look at while I was in Bloomies was navy and cream - perfect to pair with jeans. I love how relaxed, broken in and classic it looks. I also love that they would look super cute with a bathing suit or a pair of wide leg pants. The idea of planning for rooftop parties, brunches and everything that even remotely includes the beach is too exciting for words! SO, I would suggest to take a peek at Keds if you happen to be apart of the population that was not aware of the fabulous additions that they have created!
