A New Flame is a Classic Heirloom
Heirloom pieces are very hot right now. Everyone wants to wear something that looks like it came from the family chest. The problem is, that this much coveted look tends to be mass produced; therefore, you lose the very idea you intended to achieve. Enter Jaan which makes one of a kind vintage pieces. In addition, they are able to do reproduction pieces as well!

I was intrigued just knowing that the pieces are one of a kind but when I saw 'A New Flame' I was hooked on this beautiful ring. I love the Amethyst stone - I never think you can go wrong when you incorporate this stone within your jewelry. Surrounding this regal stone are smaller Amethysts and everything is set in the Vermeil Kundan setting. I love this aged gold effect because it brings added character to the piece and for those that tend to wear sterling silver, this is an easy transition to wearing gold because it doesn't have that bold gold look to it. This piece is one of a few that are described as "two-of-a-kind". So you can rest assured that you will not bump into the other fashionista that also has fabulous taste.

A New Flame, which retails for $480 does have a flame effect that is subtle and very bold at the same time, much like the name of the line itself. Jaan is the hindi word for life and spirit which is what designers Janet Cadsawan and Anita Trehan achieve through each piece. Their focus includes Vinatge Reimagined which has pieces that are limited and vintage elements, Inspired which has pieces that are vintage inspired and Nouveau which are selections that are new and not vintage. There is a vibrancy to each piece which is evident as you look at the rest of collection. Knowing that you are wearing pieces that have such thought put into them will add much to your life and spirit!
