Accessories Shoping Event
Earlier this week we looked at New York Magazines' shopping event but today I'm all about The 2nd Annual AccesSoire: The Ultimate Sample Designer Sale, brought to you by InStyle Magazine and the Accessories Council – sponsored by Midori, Coke and Mastercard. This event takes place on Oct 3rd from 9am – 7pm at the Time and Life Building at 1271 Ave of the Americas 8th fl on the 50th entrance between 6th and 7th Aves. Tickets are available in advance only by visiting this website and are $30. In addition, cash and credit are accepted and appreciated. Once again this event is about more than great shopping at this accessories only event, a portion of the funds will go to the Global Youth Action Network. Although there are a variety of designers that will be available at this event, some of my favorites include Havianas, Kenneth Jay Lane, Nine West, Streets Ahead and many more. What I love about events such as this, is that although you go for those that you love – you find out about those that were not famiiar to you. In the end, you walk away with great finds and also a new designer to fall in love with. Take some time to visit this site and to also see what other designers will be added to this roster of greats.
