I have really embraced the belt over the past year. Before belts were something that just kind of hung out in my closet but rarely got to view the outside world. Now, I can't imagine not pairing a belt with a number of my outfits - I guess somethings have to be grown into. Whatever it took for the little light to go off for this fashionable accessory, I'm glad that it did! Now I am always looking for belts that are either classic or have such a flare that I can make an outfit very simplistic so that my belt can have center stage. I think Net-a-Porter.com also agrees with me since they have a beautiful beaded belt by Matthew Williamson which has pearl trim on the outside, crystals and it has a self grosgrain tie as well. What a beautiful piece to wear with tunics, long tees and tanks and so much more. I love the way this belt looks and of course if it is worn for a night out, it is essential that it is paired with a clutch as well.
