Belted In
Oh, in my next lifetime to be 5'9 with long, willowy limbs… So many fashions would look good on me that right now just… don't.
Let's start with belted clothes – a challenge on any short person. I'm 5'4" so I'm not complaining, but still, anything belted isn't the most flattering choice.
I really love the Piazza Sempione Rope/Leather Belt. Call me crazy, but I think this belt would look great with jeans or, of course, with a tunic shirt. You could imagine it in fall, worn over a thick, oatmeal sweater, cinching it at the waist, with skinny jeans and tall brown boots.
See what I mean? What a great look that would be for a tall person!
I also really love the Ralph Lauren Blue Label Braided Leather Belt. It is absolutely gorgeous. How can you argue with the antiqued gold hardware? It would look amazing with just about anything.
My lack of height won't stop me from loving the look of that belt. After all, that's what high heels were invented for!
