Bags Galore
by Lauren Goldman on January 31, 2010

I'm not really into knock-offs but I like a deal as much as the next person. I was at this incredible boutique in La Jolla , Martha Smith Fine Linens, and in between the beautiful linens, cashmere wraps and baby-soft pajamas were these really cool Big Buddha bags.
I couldn't believe the price tags on the handbags - they were classy and classic and they were simply dirt cheap.
True, the Big Buddha Mia Bag is oddly similar to a the Valentino Rose bag, but hey, they have a website and a store in New Jersey, so officially they can't be classified as a knock-off, right?
The other interesting factoid is that a lot of the bags aren't leather. For someone who tires of all the calfskin and kidskin everywhere, it's kind of a relief to see a vegan bag that doesn't look like it was generated in a knitting circle.
At these prices, guilt-free accessorizing has never been so easy!
