Christian Who?
A friend of mine was casting a TV show recently and told me about an actress who came in wearing killer shoes. She did her audition, which wasn't bad, and the casting director said, "nice shoes." "Thanks!" said the actress, "They're really cool. Look – they have a red sole!" and out she marched.
If you don't know who Christian Louboutin is, you won't get the punch line. All of his shoes have a red sole, and for this you pay at least $500.00 a pair. Anyone who pays for his shoes without knowing this must have oodles of money to throw around. They're not the kind of shoe you happen upon.
I feel as if I write about him all the time. I am obsessed with his shoes. For summer he just came out with the Gazelle Square-Toe Leather Flats. They're the kind of nude shoe that will go with everything in your wardrobe – the kind you never take off.
And yes, for those of you who are wondering, they come with the signature red sole!
