Could Plum Be the New Black
When we go out for that special event, many people think of black since it is classy and elegant; however, there are other options. I suggest that cream, plum, burgundy, hunter and other rich colors could also be great ways to show that same elegant look without having to rely on black as a standby. Either way, plum is a fabulous color for anytime of year and looks even better when it's worn during a festive time. Tu-anh creates a variety of Eastern Inspired items that have a European flair. I love the images above since it has your basic components of what you need to begin completing your outfit. A nice pair of heels (these are fabulous depending on the outfit because you can slip in and out of them at will) whether it is enclosed, strappy, mules etc. Your personal style and outfit will dictate the best shoe. Although we all look for the best evening coat or outerwear that is best night on the town, you'll need a wrap as you move from room to room. Even though we are heading towards the winter season, strapless, backless, etc are always options for a special occassion. Simply put, sometimes a wrap can make the most basic outfit dazzle a bit more. This bracelet looks cute and with so many options available you can go with a cuff, charm, bangle, etc. Of course the handbag is absolutely essential. I find that when I am out during the day I tend to carry a larger bag since I have a lot of "necessities"; however, when I go out whether it's a Broadway show, a great restaurant, etc I want to feel like it's a special event outside of my day to day activities and I insist on limiting what I carry. This bag is definately cute since it has sparkle and clearly looks like you are about to have a great time.
