Couture Shoes Created While You Wait

I love to read magazines and while flipping through Ocean Drive which is one of my favorite magazines that covers Miami had Morgan Miller Shoes in an article. I was definitely intrigued to learn about this NYC native who now has her own couture shop in Miami (hello – we all know how much I love heading to South Beach and I'm an NYC girl who also loves shoes – the connection was obvious). After visiting the site (I had to see more of the shoes but I will let you know when it is up and running) – I reached out to get images of these fabulous shoes. Let me tell you, I wanted to post about Morgan and her shoe company Morgan Miller Shoes that opened in October; however, I felt that her collection needed to kick off the new year as a designer/couture boutique to watch. So it's official – See Pretty Things is naming Morgan Miller Shoes as one to watch for the year 2007!
I love flip flops and I love sandals with a heel as well. Being a resort wear designer as well, Morgan Miller Shoes are the perfect compliment to shopping on Collins and partuing later. The premise of Morgan Miller Shoes is selecting and creating your desired shoe, like the ones above and having them made for you while you wait! Kitten heels and wedges can be adorned with a variety of skins and swatches. Python is huge and I know that I would definitely love a pair in this fabulous textured skin. Not only can you build upon the skins, but you can also add chains, bamboo and jewels. As you wait for the newest addition to your shoe family you can enjoy champagne and they are delivered to you on silver platters from Tiffany and Co.
This is a fabulous idea and imagine all the possibilities as you plan your outfit from days where you want to wear something fabulous to run errands to days when you seriously have a special event. The website definitely looks inviting and although I am an avid fan of shopping online, I feel that the best experience is actually being in the shop getting the full experience of the customer care that they provide. I will be in South Beach for Miami Fashion Week and I will make it apart of my agenda to visit Morgan Miller Shoes just off Lincoln Road at 1634 Euclid Ave and I will update you on what I received and how much I love them!
