Dripping in Jewels

Now, I am a fan of wearing simple pieces that have one interesting piece hanging from a chain. But then there are times that you want to feel like a queen and have your neck adorned with something absolutely fabulous. Arizona's own, Beadwork by Beth has created a series of pieces that do just that.

First off, when visiting Beth Church's site, I was blown away by its Macabre effect. I love that antique Victorian look and love the pieces that have crosses. But then I was sent the press release where she was honored with a Rising Star within the accessories category from the Fashion Group International of Arizona. I love seeing girls go from the retail circuit to creating their own clothing and jewelry lines (there are many of us that go this route – me included). She taught herself how to do beading and she is skilled due to her love of antiques, fashion, art and history. Just looking at her site, these ideals are seen throughout.

This is a huge accomplishment and this group, the FGI contains over 5,000 proffessionals including members such as Donna Karen, Zac Posen and more. To say that you are the Accessory Rising Star is such a large accomplishment. With pieces as the one above with green and blue gems among these beautiful chains, I can imagine wearing this in so many ways! I would wear this with a white pinstripe pant and matching vest that has black stripes. The vest would be a form fitting piece that has a low neckline allowing this beautiful piece to have all eyes on it! I am a fan of her work and love the Gothic meets glamorous look. Couldn't you see Gwen Stefani wearing this amazing piece?

Dripping in Jewels! That’s how my Nana used to describe me after my very generous (then) boyfriend gifted me beautiful jewellery. He’s now my husband; he still gives me jewels but I’ve not to wear everything at once – difficult though that might be!
