Elaborate Rings
I had the luxury of having a mother who not only ran her own boutique and was a designer as well. I loved seeing materials go from their raw state to something fabulous. I had an even great interest in spools of thread. I loved the hues and from the larger spools to the bobbins, I loved playing with them and wearing them on my fingers. I am reminded of these spools when I look at Knot Studio's ribbon rings that are hand wrapped and wired in Argentium Sterling Silver. There is something regal about these pieces and I like the use of a different material used for a ring. I think that while you're at your lunch or having drinks with the girls, these pieces will generate interesting conversation and are fabulous to pair with a wide range of outfits.
