Goodbye Nov Hello Parties
I am so excited! Today is the last day of November. We only have one month left and then we all get to start fresh. I love that this is the season where there are more invitations to do something and since the weather isn't too bad at this point we don't have to think about how cold it will be when we run between the cab and our favorite lounge. Slowly but surely, I have been purchasing the cutest outfits that would be appropriate to go from work to the shopping parties, lounges and more. This is such a great way to introduce new elements into your style that will work well when it really is the new year. The Nickie Lariat from Kitten Couture is probably one of my favorite pieces that I designed. It reminds me of the days that I really had a lot of black and charcoal items in my closet (I wasn't into wearing a lot of color and now I totally embrace it). I definitely loved the classic look of black and from time to time I find myself going back and putting a little of the classic look into my outfit. This lariat is meant to be wrapped around your neck, tied and to hang loose. Sometimes when I have something that seems that it might be a little too low in the cleavage department, I feel that this takes up some of the space. On the other hand if you want to create a sassy vector – this does the trick as well. I love when you customize a piece and really allow yourself to play it up and down.
