Hands, Wrists & Arms?
Typically when you accessorize it's all about the ears, neck and the wrist but we are in a great seasonal transition – don't forget about the arms! Yes the arms. Last fall I was all about what I called, Arm Snugglies and so was Ralph Lauren I might add. What I call Arm Snugglies most people would call arm wraps, bands, etc. Last fall I wore a camel colored tank top that was a beautiful thick knit. I paired it with a pair of pants and cute boots. It was one of those days where it's just warm enough that you don't need a coat. So I decided to wear these arm wraps that were the same color and knit of the tank top I was wearing. It was very stylish and I was warm as well.
This week at Fashion Week, the Arm Snugglies returned; however, this time it was in leather and they were tied on – I love that touch. This model is wearing a collection by Chado Ralph Rucci (yes the arm band is from his line as well). I love the color which is a great color yet again for this season and is a great neutral as well. I think that wearing these items it's definately another way to accessorize and extend your wardrobe into other seasons. It creates a look that has a slight edge to it but it is very chic. Whether you purchase those with leather, a knit or any fabric of your choice – this is a look to attempt at least once!
