I Love DVF & Me In It
Yesterday I had the most amazing experience and it was definitely all because of DVF and Coutorture. Various bloggers and myself got the opportunity to go to the DVF store in the Meat Packing District and try on any dress that we wanted! It was such an amazing experience and with so many people to thank, there's no way I could say it big enough. First, I love one of the sales geniuses Val who helped me pick out the dress shown above which was worn by none other than Alicia Keyes! I loved seeing the amazing staff who helped us out! I felt amazing in the dress and loved the color and the "light as air feeling of the dress". I have to say that I love the brown and cream and being able to be on the zebra like rug – absolutely amazing.
I am so thankful for the kind photographers that took time with all of us and I have to say that I enjoyed being in the section of the store that had all the shoes (I can so see where my next check is going). I definitely thank Sarah, Julie and Meg from the Coutorture team that brought us all together – what girl would not want the run of the store, being able to try on multiple dresses and enjoying it all with amazing nibbles and champagne. It was one of those experiences of a lifetime. But I have to say, I also loved that I met up with old friends (The Fashion Bomb) and made new ones meeting those from The Shoe Blog and Shoptometrist! There are not enough words and I think we all felt amazing and beautiful. I am going to share more photos on The Kitten Lounge but definitely wanted to share my awe, gratitude and wonder and I so love the shoe that I am holding!!!

I cannot imagine how much fun that must have been. I’d be jealous except I’m practicing not being jealous (and currently succeeding fairly well).

It was a lot of fun and definitely an experience that I will remember for awhile. I loved that the staff and photographers took time with everyone and they were so excited – it was absolutely amazing and made me even more of a fan then I already am of DVF
