I Love My Fendi
I love eBay – or I used to before they completely redesigned the site. I've bought some of my favorite things on that site: a Zegna cashmere jacket for my husband, an antique Shelley teapot and, best of all, my brown Fendi Selleria handbag.
The bag was only $400 on eBay. At the time, it was the most I'd ever paid for a bag. It was in mint condition. When I bought it, the Selleria wasn't very "in". Now it's back and has a home on Saks Fifth Avenue's website where it can be had for a mere $1800.00.
As the proud owner of a Selleria, I can attest that it's a style that will be with us for a long time to come. It has that same classic style as the Kelly or Birkin and, like it's cousins, it also looks a little bit like something Grandma might wear.
I don't really mind. Go ahead – accuse me of fuddy-duddy taste: I love my Fendi.
