Just a Little Thought
People say, "Wow you're so put together - you must take a lot of time to get ready" - if only you saw my mad dashes in the morning! It's not that I am so put together because I spend a lot of time on me but I have my basics which work well for me and I believe in having simple basics to make your look not only very you but also one that works with so many occasions. I believe that my basics are yoga pants, denim, cute tops whether short sleeve shirts, a tank top or a graphic T and then a cute series of accessories. Generally these items can be a mix of an up and coming designer, always something from my line Kitten Couture and then something that is so simple that it's not expensive but it's a great place for the eye to go to. Pieces such as this one from Laila Rowe are a great item to include. They are pocket friendly and it comes in Gold, Silver and what is shown here, Hematite. This Knotted Tassel Necklace is a great cluster of chains with a knot that can be worn casually and dressed up. You can pair it with a number of items such as cute dangly earrings, cuffs and more. If you're not in NYC to visit the many locations, then you can purchase online. Just note that this shop or online boutique is a great way to increase your closet by simply stating, "Today I am only going to purchase this amount, I wonder what I can get for it". You'll find that you will have increased your jewelry and that simple denim and tank ensemble has a completely different look!
