Just Add a Belt

Okay so this just goes to show how a fashionista like myself, can be slow to completely embracing a fashion trend. I used to snicker when I would see people walking around with belts angled and placed on any outfit. It was as if the outfit was not complete without a wide belt of some sort displayed around the waist. It wasn't until one day that I was dressing and I realized that I looked like something was busy. Possibly I wasn't dressed up enough since I felt a little too casual and I reached for a belt and yes it was a wide one that I could angle just so (if only I had paired this with leggings – which I didn't however, I have worn this outfit out too).

I was the girl who wouldn't so much as wear a belt through my loops with jeans and now I brazenly place a belt low on my hips and consider myself dressed. So since this is apart of my look, I realized that I don't have a lot of belts to choose from and so I am looking for those with character. Today I was browsing and saw that Mike and Chris (fabulous fashion duo) have not only included a belt within their collection but I love the buckle! This espresso belt also features a bit of studding and makes even the simplest knit shirt paired with jeans a completely different outfit! Take a peek at more of their fab items and make sure to look at their bags as well.
