Kimmie Loves … A Ray of Light
I get emails from people asking me what do you like, what do you buy when you're in that shopping mood etc so I picked 10 items that I have either purchased or will be purchasing this week. I think it's fun to see what I absolutely love. My closet is a mixture of so many items from known designers, fabulous stores and my indies as well. This week I was on the ultimate quest, finding the perfect sunglasses. I definitely love to embrace my inner Audrey and will never forget the image of her in Breakfast at Tiffany's wearing large sunglasses. If you see me out and about, you will see me in that style of sunglasses. So in that effort, I have selected the above which are designed by Michael Kors. I believe I will be picking these up later in the week. I love how they are functional, sassy and definitely all me. I love that you always look so pulled together when you wear something like this regardless of whether you're wearing a cute pair of jeans or yoga pants. So I don't have these glasses, I actually went to Macy's and selected another version from Michael Kors (I'm really loving his shoes and sunglasses). But I will say that I did choose sunglasses with large lenses. I left them the other day and was almost frantic – fortunately I was able to get them back. I love how they dress up your outfit. This coming from someone who never really wore sunglasses (just on my head), never wore belts (unless my pants were drooping) and looked at watches as if they were kryptonite. I'm growing up (little tear wipe away action going on hehe).
