Kudos to House of Dereon
I have seen a lot of ads within magazines for the House of Dereon, beyonce and Tina Knowles' line, which exemplifies "Couture.Kick.Soul". When you click on "heritage" you get the sense of this saga that has played out through creativity, passion and the need to leave a piece of history on what fashion means to the Knowles women. After seeing the collection, I loved how it all came together. FYI - I love the evening wear, t-shirts (this is actually apart of the Dereon line) and I hear that the jeans are a great fit!

But for the purpose of this blog, I decided to select something from the accessory collection and due to the amount of bags that are available, this was not an easy task! In the end I fell in love with the Survivo Hobo Bag in brown. First, I loved the name and second I really like the logo of the company and like how it is incorporated into the bag. Definately, I could see this with jeans and wearing it while you're out and about. I love that this line has a lot of eye popping bags that are heavily embellished with gold studs. But I also like that thought was taken into the idea of having bags that were slightly toned down in order to please both groups of people. Based on the site, which is definately fun to look through (you get a sense of the line, the ideals behind it and the women involved), I would definately be interested in attending a fashion show and posting it on my other blog Kitten Couture Blog, which tends to show various snapshots of runway shows. Take a few moments to check out this new line that has appeared in WWD and additional publications.
