Let the Hunt Begin
You have to love the BR. It seems like they are really striving to present that upscale boutique vibe although they are Banana Republic. My boyfriend is in love with this store; however, I have falled in love with their handbags. I love the colors and the leather. This whiskey colored bag above is, my favorite within their collection for this fall. I love the hardware that's on the bag and the accessibility of the outer pocket. This bag is apart of the Sandhurst Collection where the leather has been treated so that it has a soft supple feel. I think when a leather feels like butter, you know that you have something that has a higher level of quality than one that is stiff.
Black is definately a great color that goes with everything; however, consider that you see this color in so many places that it is deemed a safe color. When choosing a bag that you feel will carry you into the fall as an everyday bag, you want to have a little oomph. Try out whiskey or you can also get this bag within the olive color. Did I mention that at the BR.com you are able to see all the different colors by simply rolling your mouse over the colors. In addition, with the additional pictures, you will be able to see how the bag hangs (we have all done the poses in the mirror imagining ourselves in the heat of a shopping frenzy – so we need to know how the bag looks as a whole). The bags are pictured with mannequins having it on their arm so you can not only see the detail but the way that it hangs.
