Look Lavish in Petals

I am always amazed at how something simple can be dynamic, artistic and yet completely natural. As I took some time to browse around what's new in accessories, I saw a fabulous piece from Deborah Grivas Designs. Although I am familiar with her collection, I was intrigued to learn that Deborah worked within the accessory business by cultivating/managing designers and artists; moreover, she was able to use her years of experience as a means to launch her own collections which have been shown in a variety of venues. I have also been a fan of her pieces since I saw them at a show (My sister was a rep at the time during an Intermezzo or Coterie during the show for the showroom that represents Deborah collection in NYC – if you have the opportunity to particpate with a showroom to attend these shows, it's an amazing education about trends and the process that stores go through to create their stories from season to season.)
All of that aside, I am impressed by the piece below due to its delicate yet extremely focal presence that it demands. This necklace's pendant is a Chrysanthemum flower that has been preserved in a polyresin solution! By doing this, the flower becomes a pendant that is placed on a cream or black linen and organza cord! At first glance, I thought that maybe this pendant was a shell and had no idea that it was actually a flower. I believe that this is a piece that transcends seasons and outfits. Wearing this necklace will generate a lot of conversation and only solidify to others that you have excellent taste!
