Bags Galore

It's Christmas Eve so all the stress may be ending (or beginning if you're thinking about the reaction that your gifts will bring). Now you can think about you as opposed to all of those that you have spent weeks and quite a bit of your paycheck and bonus on. In Feb, I am on a quest to find a variety of designers to bring to you on See Pretty Things and my sister blog, Kitten Lounge. Thankfully, living in NYC, many of those who will be out in Vegas have been kind enough to allow me a sneak preview on their collection - from what they currently have and what will soon be in your stores. Last week, I met what I like to think is rare for me in the world of fashion. I spent nearly two hours watching Arlene, the designer of Ziordia walk me through the line. The rare factor came in when I realized that I loved nearly every creation I saw and even that which wasn't my style, I would still gift it someone. For me, this is the equivalent of whether you buy the single song in the iTunes store or whether you buy the ENTIRE album. I don't know about you but it's rare when you buy the entire album. Being mesmerized by the pieces and the fact that I met someone who has the same taste in handbags - I had to say that her collection, Ziordia is a certified See Pretty Things favorite and one that I can't wait to see where it will go.
My favorite piece from the collection in terms of wow factor (this would be something that you would LOVE to carry - but it's not something you would wear every single day) is this gorgeous bag from the Belize Collection. I love that it's white and that in the little vents that are on the body of the bag, are Red Agate beads. As you know, I design my jewelry with beads and Agate is one of my favorite stones so this was extremely appealing to me. Even the zipper pull has these stones as well. I would wear this when traveling to South Beach, cocktail parties in the Hamptons or a very nice girl's weekend. I would pair this with all white because it's absolutely stunning. At the same time, I would pair this with a beaded pair of flip flops, low rise denim and a cuper cute Tunic. There is no outfit that this wouldn't look amazing with! Ziordia is definitely a line where those of us who enjoy having that "It Bag" will enjoy adding them to our collection. If you don't have this amazing designer within your local boutique, you can also buy online! Although this bag may not be available, definitely bookmark this so that when it is available, so you'll have first dibs! In addition, the designer of Ziordia, Arlene, wanted you to see a side view of this bag - she's all about the details!
