State of Mine has the cutest concept. If you love a certain state, wear it and if you want to make a claim about your place in it - by all means do it! I love the charm necklaces and think they're really cute. Looking through the site I was impressed that you could get a state of your choosing and then I was blown away. Not only can you choose your state, you can have a diamond placed in that state to signify your hometown - how cute! I had hoped to find a pic of Indiana with a star on Indianapolis; however, they didn't have one. The next best thing was to show NY (note that Hawaii does not have a charm that is available). I think that whether you're showing your hometown, one of the best areas you've ever had a memory, etc, this is a great idea. For those that may not want a charm necklace, State of Mine has other items of interest and for those that are interested in a foreign country, don't feel left you. Simply contact State of Mine with the appropriate address and they will make a custom one for you. I think it would be cute to pair this charm with a longer necklace so that you have some layers OR you can show a variety of states that you feel compelled to share the love with.
