Glam for the Hands
by Kimmie on September 6, 2006

I am a sterling silver kind of girl and I can be found wearing this 99.9% of the time; however, this season is all about what glitters and having a little gold (for those of us who swear by silver) is a nice change every now and then. Going natural is always nice and I simply love this ring by Anne Maa Designs which is known for her custom jewelry. I simply love large cocktail rings. The ring pictured above is entitled the Shaded citrine Ring which has the citrine wrapped in a 14K gold filled wire. I love that its asymmetrical elements make it look extremely unique and versatile as well.
This season as is trure for previous ones as well, adding natural elements to your wardrobe will allow you to create an individual look. These rings can be paired with others as long as you are mindful of the fact that they become the primary accessory for the look. I would pair this ring with a chunky necklace that can be wrapped around your neck a couple of times creating a delicate multi-dimensional look to something as simple as a pair of pants and a shirt or a simple dress. Take some time to check out this site and you will find reasonable prices (the above ring is $138.00 which is fabulous). Everyone should have some type of a signature ring and this very well could be it! If citrine is not your stone, there are plenty of other stones that will pull you into this site full of glitter.
