Pedicure Friendly Boots

When it's the summer it's easy to get a Pedicure. You can just wear flipflops and never have to think about how you can transport your new pedicure; however, the winter does pose a problem. Could Bootie Pies be the solution? First off, I would love to give kudos to Style Bakery for having this on their page or else I would have never known about this – check them out for designers that you will want to add to your closets! I think so. So how does this work? After visiting the site and reading the cute poem and the actual directions, I realized that you wear these boots to the salon. After wearing them you get your pedicure done up to the time when they begin to polish your toes. At this point, you put the boots on and press the toe down which allows your toes to sit on top of this and you get them polished. Now you're shoes are on and your feet stay warm although it seems like you're toes would be exposed; however, you have not messed up your polish and I'm sure you can get in your car or in the cab to your next destination.
Three sisters from Jersey came up with this fabulous idea AND they also took into consideration the fashion end of this and made sure that you had some snazzy options. I think that this is a fabulous idea for those of us that continue to get pedicures into the winter and we should all toast them while we are at our favorite salons. Warm feet, saving a pedicure and looking fabulous – say yes to Bootie Pies. I hope to get a pair and go to Dashing Divas with these on and see what other ladies think of this!

Sure, it’s cold out, but getting a pedicure is still a great way to pamper yourself. If your toes are freezing in flip-flops and you’re sick of smudging your fresh polish while putting on socks, you aren’t alone. Bootie Pies (Pedicure Boots for Posh Toes), are Ugg-like winter boots made of suede with a warm lining and fold back patent leather toe to let your nails dry while keeping your feet toasty. The boots come in five different colors, including this coconut creme and are sold exclusively at bootiepies.com for $128 a pair. Seems a bit much to us, but for the pampered footsie, why not?
