You know that when Halloween is literally days away that it is the unofficial kickoff to the holiday season. My sister's birthday is on Halloween and as we celeberate her day I make a mental note of the lack of time that I have until Christmas day. But in the midst of buying fabulous gifts, there are plenty of parties to attend. Some are just casual affairs while others are a great opportunity to show your sense of style and as always, this is reflected in our accessories.

I am in love with this velvet clutch by Oscar de la Renta. I love that it has a nice embroidery on it and this particular color is such a great rich color that no closet should be without this. You could be wearing a pant suit that is complemented by this clutch, an off the shoulder dress is another option or a backless gown. Either way this bag is stunning and you will look the same as you come through the front door.
