No matter how much we love our heels and flip flops, the ballerina shoe is definitely something that will be in our wardrobe. To be honest, it took me a long time to get into the idea of the ballerina shoe. I love wearing flip flops and never felt that there was a purpose for this style until there was a day that was slightly damp. I didn't want to wear my wellies because it wasn't going to rain and yet I didn't want to have my feet exposed either. All of a sudden, the lightbulb went off and I realized that there was in deed a need! Once I saw that, I wore them from time to time with my skinny jeans and other cute outfits. I don't have a lot (just a black patent leather pair and a silver pair from Brazil), but when I see one worth having - you know I have to share with you! I love the fact that this shoe has a great basketweave look. This season we have seen so many pieces picking up this look that it's nice to see it appear again in another way. I would definitely add this to my collection. Not only is this a cozy shoe but it is perfect since it has a cute little bow and also a little charm embellishment as well. Nothing is better than finding something cute, functional and a way for your feet to come down from the heavy use that we put on them!
