Sass and Class
The other night a girlfriend of mine said, "Kimmie how do you keep all your bags together – every night you have a new bag". Well, I have a nice set of closets and I feel that a handbag is essential to any outfit (well I think all components are essential when it comes to looking fabulous). I have bags for many moods and when I saw this bag above, I was hooked. Yes, this is Claire Sanchez and it is official – she is one of my favorite handbag designers! Not just because she has appeared in Lucky Magazine but also because she has an eye for the many moods we may emote throughout the day or for a variety of events.
As many of you know, I design resort wear and I am a fan of using shantung because it's an amazing fabric that has texture and shimmer. Claire's Nannette Ruffle Clutches are fabulous with their texture, shimmer and of course the feather (this is a removable pin – although I wouldn't remove it) – which is a sassy, yet classy touch! The Nannette Ruffle Clutch comes in a variety of colors, the one above is Ash and she uses a silk dupioni. This is perfect with so many outfits when you are out about jeans is an obvious one. I also have a pair of cropped black pants that are made out of a shantung fabric that laces on the side of the leg – super cute with heels and I have a lace cami that I pair with it. How cute would this bag be paired with this outfit? If Ash isn't enough, you should collect Dark Opal, Zaffron, Elfin, Blood Red and Black. This is perfect for a night on the town wherever you love to frequent or when you go on to vacation to your favorite hotspot!
