Winter wear doesn't have to be functional, it can be a lot of fun - which means you can look fabulous! Nothing is better than bracing yourself against the cold and knowing that you're looking stylish. If you are functionally fabulous than you need to take a peek at this adorable hat by Alison Beth. This NYC designer picked up knitting and has never stopped. The amount of items that she has available (all knitted of course) ranges from bandanas, bags, ponchos and more. As a designer and someone that loves to showcase designers especially those in NYC, this is someone that we should all get to know.

This hat is fabulous because I am a fan of black and white. I could so see this hat taking a few spins around Rockefeller Plaza's skating rink but no need to stop there. With the sequin details on this hat you could wear this at any upscale event as well. Either way you'll look amazing whether you're at the bodega on the corner or just taking a stroll in Bryant Park.
