Shopping Love
I love this time of year. it seems like there are many shopping events available. One that I currently have my eye on is the 2nd Annual New York Magazine Best Bets Event, sponsored by Virgin Atlantic. With over 40 labels at this event, the only thing better than the actual shopping is the fact that a portion of the funds for this event go to The Fund for Public Schools. On Oct 3rd and 4th from 11am – 7pm at Skylight Studios (275 Hudson St at Dominick St). This event is not only apparel and accessories but beauty and home fashions are included as well at discounted prices. Such accessories designers include French Sole, Satya Jewelry, plaza Too, Trish Becker and much more. All of these can be paired well with other designers that are also available at this event.
Although tickets are $45 at the door, by clicking the link above, you can purchase one ticket at $35 or two tickets at $50. Inn addition to this shopping event which supports The Fund for Public Schools, this is the kickoff for a two week promotion that allows you to support public school libraries. With so many shopping events that go on during this time, it's nice to know that this one is for a great cause that will be beneficial to so many students and for you as well.
