You know what I love about this season's biggest accessory? Whenever you get a gift from someone or find out that the perfect top you bought was purchased in the wrong size (and the store is no longer carrying it) you can belt it! Belts are going on everything now. I have never been a belt fan but even I like to wrap a belt or sash around a super long top. From dresses, tanks and more the belts are coming out from all sides and now the belt becomes the primary article that people notice. In this case, get thee to a belt shop! Okay so I don't know of a store dedicated to belts that you can visit on your local avenue (but if you own such a shop you know how to get a hold of me) but there are many boutiques that can help you out. I love that the belt above is a take off of the classic kimono style. It's a wider belt that is a beautiful color that will wear well with age. If you are in love with this belt, check out Pookie and Sebastian who has two cute boutiques in NYC and is available online as well. No matter what you wear this with, you will always be in style. You can also pair this with a Blazer and turn this belt around to allow the wider section to be in the front for a greater dramatic effect. With so many options, I suppose you will find belts taking up more of your closet with variations in color and style.
