The Shell Becomes Apart of Your Everyday

I'm telling you, I absolutely love the idea of bringing a bit of the beach with you no matter where you go. It's official, winter may have lost its way but reality sunk in when I had to bundle up and seriously bring my winter clothing out of the closet. Of course being bundled up doesn't mean that I totally have to give myself over to the winter, I feel that bringing elements of nature into your wardrobe is a great way of bringing a fresh perspective on what it means to be in the winter season! I always have my favorites but Mesi Jilly now has my attention with her approach to bringing her love of the beach into everyday wear no matter what the weather.
I am in love with the piece above which is a black and white shell. (You guys know that I love large cocktail rings with a fabulous jewel but since I am a bigger fan of something a bit more natural, I am completely drawn to this piece.) I love the idea of wearing a shell on your favorite finger. Not only is it a conversational piece but it simply looks fabulous, luxurious and more! If you would like to see more of her fabulous pieces, take a moment to visit Vivre which has a variety of luxury pieces that you should keep an eye on for your jewelry closets! I can't wait until her collection extends beyond rings and goes into necklaces and bracelets. Take a moment to visit her site and see where else you can pick up her fabulous finds!

I too like natural materials as long as they are collected without hurting the earth. I once made a regrettable decision to buy 2 large conch shells (the big white spiral ones) from a local diver on the docks in the Caribbean. He would dive for the item, throw away the animal (kind of like an oyster) and sell the shell rather inexpensively.
I’m new to blogging, hope to visit again :}
