You can file this under being a little late to adopt an interest in a certain accessory. It hasn't been until the last two months that I began wearing a watch. It wasn't until life got a little more hectic that I realized peeking at my Sidekick was not the best way to keep me on time. Right around that time I fell in love with my Diesel watch. But it was last year that I remember watching a certain Ellen episode when I first heard about
Toy Watch. I had no idea that these watches were a "hot accessory" that made everyone give a double take. I believe my first time seeing it up close was at Anthropologie earlier this year. Honestly, I couldn't see the fascination and I remember emailing someone about two months ago asking him why he liked it so much. I chalked it up to one of the many fashion trends that just happen and either you get it or you don't. So, it's absolutely official, I get it! I found a collection that is so eye catching that it makes me look at the whole selection in a new way. I fell in love with the Pave Collection. The Pink Pave Bezel is a lot of bling and I love that the watch is slightly larger then what you would see me wear. In addition, I love the acrylic band that carries the Pave. Of course after visiting the website, I love the idea of "Time is Plastic" that's really cute. I love that this piece is a "Power Watch" that brings together elements of playful dominance. What a great watch to pair with cute denim looks, polo dresses or my summer essential - a cute white jersey halter dress with cute espadrilles. Visit
Toy Watch and find where they carry this intriguing brand (I'm warming up with every sentence and hoping I can get the Pave watched) at such stores as
neiman marcus
, Saks, etc.
