I haven't even thought about what I am going to wear for New Years Eve (and what dazzling bling I will be sporting) or what my resolutions are BUT the count down to the end of the year has begun. It's definately bittersweet thinking about all the things that you did, have yet to and what you may have fallen a bit short on; however, I love that the end of the year brings a series of Best Of lists!

This year is even more important because See Pretty Things was placed on Accessories Magazine's Best of 2006!! I had a little interview in there so you can read my thoughts. You can read the article here. We were awarded the Best Accessories Blog for 2006! This is a huge honor, this magazine not only focuses on accessories; however, they bring tradeshows such as Moda Manhattan, Fashion Footwear Association NY, Accessories the Show and more. This allows buyers to come and buy all kinds of goodies that make it to your favorite stores and they track trends as well. I love that they chose this site as a place to learn about accessories and that they are fond of my obsession! If you're around town, check out the magazine other's in the accessory industry made the list from accessories at dylan's Candy Bar to accessory only shops from large retailers such as Gap. I'm super excited for the honor and thank all designers and boutiques that made it possible via creating such amazing items. In addition, I love the readers that have a passion for accessories and looking fab who check in daily! Of course you can continue to expect bigger and better things for the year to come!
