Hayden-Harnett is my new best friend! I love the fact that they have bags that make you notice them as you walk down the street. I love the hardware, bodies of the bag and much more. I love trying different stones and pieces but one of the pieces that you may not have seen me wear are pearls. The last time I had worn a pearl I was at my aunts wedding and I was something like 12 years old. Even when I wore it I felt older and not necessarily in a good way! It wasn't like I vowed to never wear it again but it wasn't something that I ever gravitated toward. It's October and I'm already in a holiday state of mind. It's essential that I begin to build my pieces so that I am ready for cocktail parties at a moment's notice, impromptu dinners and so much more! Typically, I am not an earrings kind of girl so anytime I see a pair that's amazing, you know that they're absolutely fabulous! As an Editor that enjoys writing about accessories I love looking high and low for great accessories. With daily posts, I feel that I touch on various areas until one day I saw my boyfriend hard at work. Now if you are not aware he is the Food Editor of my other blog, Kitten Lounge. It was when he joined this site that he realized that as we go to interviews and travel, he needs a bag that will hold everything without wondering where he left his wallet (oh the runs we have had to make in order to get his items back). I think the day that he decided a bag was needed was when I gave him my Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Press Bag to hold everything for a recent interview. From then on he began researching Tumi, Kenneth Cole and more; however, he couldn't find the perfect fit until today when he decided upon - Coach. I was a little surprised but he showed me a collection of bags and I had to say that it definitely fit his look. So, I am now on the hunt to finding the perfect bag and if in fact it is the Varick Nylon Map Bag, I think our worries might be over! This bag is perfect regardless of where he will be, will hold our electronics and from a cleaning perspective, we won't have to worry about him being able to keep this clean. I also love the colors that it comes in as well (although I know he will stick with black). I will keep you updated on what he finally gets and if his list is any indication, he has turned into a Coach man!

Sometimes on Saturday, I love to go to various art galleries and having friends that are installation artists, I have really been able to see a variety of styles. I love seeing interesting paintings and sculptures and I love when some of them incorporate raw, edgy, industrial pieces that let your mind try to wrap around the concepts. When I heard about Julius, these were the things running through my head as well. Many of the pieces make you feel like you're wearing art and you can wear these edgy pieces with items that are soft and femme to keep people guessing about what you're trying to say.
