Ben Hur Becomes Fashionable

I love when clothing is definitely inspired by periods of time - in fact everything comes from a specific period; however, there are times when you wonder would you actually wear this out? Now Paul & Joe have the Dedalo Flat Gladiator Sandal available on ShopBop.com and as I looked at it I was a little torn. I love the color and the idea but wondered would I actually wear this when I'm out and about? The best part is that it is suede and that it is a high backed sandal but with what could you wear with this? I suppose the obvious choice is that you would have a cute tunic top of sorts or something with leggings. I definitely love when you have pieces that make you think about how it would be incorporated into your look and am interested in the responses!
