French designer of shoes Christian Louboutin famous for his trademark scarlet soled shoes, since past 20 years from the time of its inception these shoes have been admired for its unique creation and have become an object of desire for celebrities like Madonna, Jennifer Lopez and Angelina Jolie.
Christian Louboutin is hailed as the biggest designer for these hi-fahion shoes; selling more than 240,000 pairs of shoes throughout United States every year at costs ranging from $395 to $600. The estimated revenue of Louboutin's company is $135 million at this particular year.
Louboutin has filed a law suit against Yves Saint Laurent for using its trademark red soles, however Louboutin was unable to prove his brand was entitled to trademark protection. So the New York Court h offered YSL the permission to manufacture shoes with red out-sole, while Louboutin being annoyed by the decision is planning to appeal the court's decision.

Police Using Evidence In Shoes Left Behind To Track Down Sex Offender

A pair of brown shoes which were left behind by a sexual attacker has been used by the police to create a DNA profile of the man, and is being used to catch the criminal in Marlborough, Vancouver. The pair of shoes, which are simple, brown in colour, with thick rubber soles and double knotted laces have scruff marks on the toes, which gives obvious forensic evidence which points towards the attacker. The shoes were left behind at the scene of the sexual assault, when the attacker fled in a rush leaving the victim unconscious. Police have also enlisted the help of local residents and have asked around if anybody in the neighbourhood can recognize the shoes. Police also informed people having the same style of shoes to come forward.
